Surviving brothers run for their lost, identical twins

That was the unimaginable experience of Nora Shipton and her husband, Rob White, after she gave birth to two sets of identical twins — quadruplets — on Dec. 22, 2006 at The Ottawa Hospital. The four boys, “micro-preemies” weighing less than two pounds, were delivered by caesarean section at 26 weeks. It meant their lungs, hearts and immune systems weren’t fully developed.
